Features and Specifications:
There are some features you need to look closer while choosing a pull-up bar for your home:
Versatility – It is a very versatile product. Like I said in the beginning, you’ll be able to perform a lot of different bodyweight exercises on it. From pulling strength exercises to pushing strength and core strength exercises. All that with just one equipment.
Weight Capacity – A weight capacity of this machine is 250 lbs. That weight capacity is a standard capacity for many pull up bars, and I dare to say that’s enough for basic workouts. You can even add some additional weight to linger the exercise.
Dimensions – 50 x 81.5 x 41.5 inches and weighs 54 lbs. These are not big dimensions for a pull-up bar stand and also it weighs only 54 lbs and as such is suitable for every home.
The Width of a Pull-Up Bar – A pull up bar is 42 inches wide, and it is a great width for doing wide pull ups. With this bar, you can do all variations of pull ups and chin ups without any problem.
Price Range – A price range of this pull-up bar stand is $$$. That’s my mark for products that cost less than 120$.

Our Thoughts On Stamina 1690 Power Tower
I’ve had a chance to try this product a few times and also I did a comprehensive research about it. In this paragraph, I’ll include my subjective opinion about the product in general.
First of all, don’t be scared about dimensions of this product. It’s not that big in a free standing to pull up bar category. If you think that it’ll be hard to assemble this beast, you’re wrong. It is relatively easy to assemble this product because manufacturer provides excellent instruction in the package as well as hardware for installation.
I’m a taller person (around 190 cm), and I have a problem with low pull up bars. I don’t usually bend my knees when doing any of exercises, nor I like my legs touching the floor.
That pull up bar is around 205 cm tall, so keep in mind that you probably will need to bend your knees while doing pull ups. The width of a bar is great because I’m able to perform my favorite exercise – a wide pull up.
This power tower is very versatile as it enables a whole set of different activities to be performed. I noticed that the bar we had in our local gym had bent bars. I guess it may be due to only 250 lbs weight capacity.
All in all, the Stamina 1690 Power Tower is an excellent free standing pull up bar for every home and every athlete. You get a product with a great list of features for a low price. If you are looking at quality/money aspect, then this product is a way to go.
The Stamina 1690 Power Tower is a superior free standing to pull up bar for several reasons. Some pull up bars are way more expensive than this power tower, and yet this product offers you great features for a small price. It is a relatively versatile product, and you’ll be able to hit a whole upper-body with only this product. Also, it’s sturdy as hell when different exercises are performed on it.
Only complaints go to weight capacity. If you don’t mind about weight capacity and you want to have a high-quality and complete home gym for a small price you won’t regret a single thing with this power tower. If you don’t have enough space, but you want to train in your home, I advise you to check this door frame pull up bar.
